Software
Why is PrisonPC different?
The majority of computers normally used in prisons include a local hard drive which contains the software and all of the users' documents and data. Regular audits of these desktops are necessary, however they are laborious and time-consuming, and often they don't identify security violations until long after they have occurred.
Leveraging Desktop Computing Horsepower.
Cybersource PrisonPC leverages the power provided by the local desktop computer hardware to run applications while not allowing the end-users to access the underlying operating system or modify application software. The absence of local storage entirely removes the burden of desktop administration and application installation.
Software Integrity
PrisonPC is resilient to any method of permanent or user modification or unauthorised changes, including user-instigated application installation and third-party virus, spyware, keylogger and other malware attack.
